#Galfar Al Misnad conducts various Environment awareness campaign during the entire month of June in solidarity with the World Environment Day observed on the 5th of June. The 2023 World Environment Day campaign theme “Beat Plastic Pollution” is a grave concern facing the planet. Humanity produces over 430 million tons of plastic every year . Two-thirds of which are short-lived products that soon turn into waste. This has devastating consequences for wildlife, ecosystems, human health, and the global economy. As part of this campaign volunteers from #GalfarAlmisnad took out time for a beach cleaning program in collaboration with Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar.
